The Sector 9 Soul Rebel is perfect for those looking for a great light bomber, cruiser, or carver. It features a small kicktail that's perfect for popping off of curbs, taking tight corners, or even doing manual and shuv it tricks. It's also made with 5 plys of straight up bamboo which even though IS a weed, is no less durable than even the mightiest of wood. Also, bamboo tends to keep it shape and life longer than traditional wood so for all of you hardcore pushers out there, keep these boards in mind.
The Soul Rebel comes with grease ball bearings, sector 9 wheels and gullwing trucks. All of these are excellent for cruising around and carving but if you're bombing hills I suggest getting gullwing bombers and maybe a lower durometer wheel with sharp lips to keep you gripped to the ground on those harder corners and more stable at speed due to the higher contact patches. I recommend any of the Bob Marley Sector 9 line to anyone simply because they're lightweight, easy to carry around despite the sizes on any of them, and just all around great boards, for a good price.
