The Sector 9 Drifter is a great freeride, light bombing, cruising, and carving board. Much like the portal it also has a drop mount making it easier to push, giving you more stability at higher speeds, and easier to break into slides. It also has slight little kicktails which make it possible to pull off sweet manny's, and rockin' shuvs. This board is also only 4 plys of maple sandwhiched between two layers of fiberglass, giving it a great responsive flex and making it overall more durable than wood alone.
The Drifter comes with Sector 9 Wheels, Gullwing trucks, and greaseball bearings. This board also comes complete with a new concave mold that's a touch deeper than Sector 9's traditional taco mold, and also has a camber for snappiness and responsiveness which is great for cruising around and makes it much more lively for carving. However if you're not used to it, it can be kind of awkward to freeride on, but to each their own. It's an awesome board for an awesome price, so if you're looking for something new to add to your quiver for sure get a hold of this board.
