The Sector 9 Mundaka is a great board for cruising and carving, and light bombing. It has semi deep wheel well cutouts to help prevent wheelbite and it also has a pintail shape that most people love for carving and cruising due to the tapering as it keeps the wheels from biting the rails of the board, also it's simple and for some reason oddly cool looking.
The Mundaka Comes with Grease Ball bearings, Sector 9 Wheels, and Gullwing trucks. All of these are excellent for cruising and carving and I would only recommend upgrading the bearings, IF THAT. So many people come in and splurge, and while it's great that they do, why? If you can get a solid setup for a solid price? That's what were trying to accomplish with this blog here, as well as promote bamboo boards because well, they're just plain better for the environment because it's not using wood. Anyways, the Mundaka is an awesome cruiser or carver and can even handle some light bombing and long distance pushing.
