The sector 9 Fanatics is a great pintail for board walking, dancing, carving, and commuting. It has 7 plys of cold cut maple and believe me when I say this board can take some abuse. It also has a standard taco mold and has a radial concave which will lock your feet in nicely when carving and pumping and wont interfere when pushing. The tail although minuscule is still there and can help get you onto and off of curbs as well as give you something to hold on to so you can wheel your board around instead of having to carry it everywhere.
The Fanatics comes with sector 9 wheels, grease ball bearings, and gullwing trucks, all of which are perfect for getting done what needs to be done. Sector 9 makes a beastly wheel that wear evenly and last forever especially if you're only crusing and carving. You'll find the gullwing trucks to be very responsive and will allow you to pump and carve for as long as your bearings will carry you. And speaking of which grease ball bearings are an excellent bearing that will probably last you a couple of months and are covered which means there's no need to clean them, when you need new ones just toss em and grab a new set! I recommend the fanatics to any commuting and carving fanatics, or anyone new to the sport.
